We need your help
Fundraising in the community is a huge source of support for us and comes from all sectors of the community in a variety of ways. However you choose to fundraise, and whoever you choose to fundraise with, the money you raise will help babies, children and young people living with life-shortening conditions across West, North and East Yorkshire.
Fundraising advice
Our advice for your fundraising would be to:
- make it fun
- make it achievable
- make it safe
- make sure it's legal
- make it collaborative (the more people on board, the more you can share the work and spread the word)
- make sure you don't forget to ask for the money!
If fundraising isn't right for you right now, you could also help us by volunteering or by simply donating.
The fundraising possibilities are endless!
Here are just a few suggestions to help you get started.
There are no limits to how creative you can be. The more unusual your idea is, the more interest you'll get!
Make sure you let us know what you have planned as well because we'd love to help you along the way with expert fundraising knowledge and publicity across social media.
- host a bake sale
- Christmas jumper day
- Donation Bin Scheme
- getting sponsored for one of our events or your own event
- dress down days
- car boot sales
