National Three Peaks

Date:
Thursday 02 July 2026 - Friday 03 July 2026
Time:
6:30 am - 11:59 pm

Fancy doing something unforgettable in 2026? Take on the Big Three.

Each year, just 12 people take on this incredible challenge – climbing the three highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours. Could 2026 be your year?

If you’re ready for a serious adventure, want to push yourself physically and mentally, and raise vital funds for Martin House along the way, this could be the challenge for you.

You’ll need stamina, determination, and a good pair of boots – but you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be guided by a small team of mountain leaders from Overlimits, our outdoor adventure experts, so you’ll be in good company.

What’s involved?

  • Three Peaks: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon
  • Distance & Ascent: Around 24 miles on foot, with over 3,000 metres of climbing
  • Route: Starting and finishing in Boston Spa, all transport and routes are arranged. You’ll begin with Ben Nevis, move on to Scafell Pike, and finish with Snowdon.
  • Time: 24 hours to complete the full challenge (the clock starts from your descent on Ben Nevis)
  • Support: Expert mountain guides, event transport, and a guided training day to help you prepare
  • Experience: Stunning views, unforgettable memories, and a true test of endurance

This exclusive event is for Martin House supporters only, with just 12 places available.

How to apply

Please fill in an application form and tell us why you want to take on the Big Three for Martin House. Make sure you answer all the questions as fully as possible – we want to understand your motivation, your commitment, and what the challenge means to you.

Once applications open, we’ll carefully review every submission.
If you’re one of the chosen 12, here’s what to expect:

Registration Fee

If selected, you’ll need to pay a £275 registration fee, which includes:

  • A guided training day walk to help you prepare, build confidence, and meet your fellow teammates
  • Ongoing fundraising support from our dedicated events team
  • Event transport and logistics
  • Expert mountain guides throughout the challenge

Fundraising

We ask all our walkers to raise a minimum of £1,000.

This incredible amount could help to pay for seven hours of counselling and emotional support from a qualified counsellor, providing families with vital care at times of heightened anxiety and worry.

Every step you take, and every pound you raise, helps us continue supporting families who need us most.
