The countdown to Christmas is on
And we want you to join in the fun!
On Friday 12 December, we’re asking you to pull on your brightest, silliest, or sparkliest Christmas jumper to help us bring joy to families supported by Martin House.
Sign up with your workplace, school or community group and join hundreds of our supporters for this festive Friday.
What is Martin House Christmas Jumper Day?
Martin House Christmas Jumper Day is our annual celebration that brings our community together in support of families facing unimaginable challenges over the festive season. Every December, we invite schools, workplaces, social groups, and families across Yorkshire to wear a festive jumper (or any festive outfit) and donate just £2.
What starts as a small gesture creates a lasting impact. The funds we raise through your festive fun helps keep our hospice doors open, to offer specialist symptom control, emergency responses and end-of-life support throughout winter, and your support makes it possible at no cost to the families.
How do I take part?
It’s more than just a jumper, it’s a reason to celebrate! Turn your Christmas Jumper Day into a festive party:
✅ Host a bake sale or Christmas quiz
✅ Organise a festive raffle or sweepstake
✅ Get everyone together for a festive lunch or coffee morning
✅ Or simply collect donations while spreading Christmas cheer!
We’re asking for a minimum donation of just £2 per person, but every extra pound raised makes an incredible difference.
