Sue Rumbold

Sue joined the Board of Trustees in 2015. She is the Chief Office of Partnerships and Health at Leeds City Council, leading multiple teams that support the delivery of challenging front line children’s services. In this role, she leads on the development of a unique approach to engaging with businesses and partners to establish Child Friendly Leeds, the ambition to improve outcomes for all children and young people in the city.

Sue is also the Programme Director for West Yorkshire and Harrogate Integrated Care System, providing strategic leadership for an integrated and consistent offer for children with life limiting conditions and their families.

Sue is a passionate advocate for the right care and support for all children and families in a place of their choice. As a Trustee, she aims to support Martin House to have an influential voice in the development of end of life and palliative care in the region.
