Baby Simba was only a few months old when his parents Amardeep and Theo got the devastating news that their son wouldn’t live to see his first Christmas. Amardeep cancelled Christmas, saying “I was really angry with the world”. But thanks to the determination of Martin House staff, the family were convinced to come to our annual Christmas party. Â
“I cried happy tears all the way through, it gave me back my spark, the will to fight and be a better version of myself for Simba,” said Amardeep. It inspired her and Theo to celebrate Simba’s Christmas with their whole family.

Volunteer to become a Martin House Christmas card seller
Help us spread some festive cheer while raising vital funds to support local families this Christmas. Sell cards to your friends, family and neighbours, take them along to your school, church or community Christmas fair, or pop a selection in your local shop, club or community space.
And there’s no need to worry about being left with cards you can’t sell, you simply return whatever you don’t sell along with any funds raised.
