Gather your friends, family or work colleagues and sign up for this amazing challenge, all while raising funds to help us continue to provide our vital care. Whether you choose three, two or one peak, it’s sure to be a memorable day out.

If you are taking on all three peaks, the 24-mile trek starts in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, where you will begin your journey hiking up Pen-y-ghent, then ascend Whernside, and finally tackle the short scramble up Ingleborough. Alternatively, you have the option to complete a pair of peaks or take on just one peak.

If you’re focusing on conquering just one peak this year, prepare to tackle the magnificent Pen-y-ghent. Despite being the smallest among the Yorkshire Three Peaks, its beauty is undeniable. It serves as an excellent starting point for newcomers to the trio, especially children. Covering approximately 6 miles or 10 kilometres, the route offers a relatively gentle climb. Along the way, you’ll get the opportunity to witness Hull Pot, a colossal natural pothole, 20 meters wide and 60 meters deep, carved by limestone erosion. It’s a thrilling stop that’ll leave you in awe of nature’s might!

This challenge is self-led; however, you will be provided with direction on where to walk and there will be a team of experienced mountain guides from Overlimits on hand along the route to provide assistance and check you’re staying on course.

Please note you will need a good level of fitness and training in the lead up to the event to take part in the three peaks challenge.
