A great place to work

We have a team of fantastic people who all contribute to making the hospice a great place to work.

We couldn’t do the work we do, offer the services we provide or have the impact on the lives of children and young people and their families like we do, without our people. We’ve created an inclusive working environment with high performance at its heart, with real focus on delivering on our vision and mission and embedding our values.

Make an impact

We are an organisation where each member of staff is valued for the skills and expertise they bring to their role. The families we support are at the centre of everything we do, no matter what role you play in our organisation, you are part of supporting the journey of each family that comes through our doors.

Be part of an inspiring community

We help families make positive memories and have memorable, precious time together.

Be yourself

Not only are our families individuals, so are our staff. We encourage our people to bring their whole selves to work. We cherish the differences in each other and understand everyone has been on a different journey to joining us. What is important to you matters to us.

Grow and develop

We love to learn new things and develop ourselves and each other. Our care team are supported by two very experienced practice educators to help guide and develop our care team in delivering the very best care.

We offer a range of learning opportunities across each department with your own goals in mind.

We are led by you and your learning needs. Whether you are at the beginning or end of your career, there is always learning to be found.

Care

We strive to lead the way in children’s palliative care, and our people are how we do this. Our teams demonstrate their passion for our vision every day, whether that is making a cup of tea for a family or a colleague, researching a new treatment option or thanking one of our many loyal supporters. Everyone cares, and our shared goals brings us together.
