Preparing for your stay
We provide bedding and towels. You need to bring clothes, toiletries and all the equipment, feed and medicines required for the stay.
Your child’s needs
On every admission we will talk to you or the child or young person themselves and go through the care required. This will be documented on their care plans. This can take some time so if you are not staying, please leave enough time for us to complete them.
Please ensure all medicines are clearly labelled and in the original packets. We cannot take responsibility for any valuables you bring with you.
Visitors
If you wish to ask people to visit while you are staying that is fine, they are welcome to have a drink, but generally we are unable to invite them for meals. Please let us know if you are expecting visitors.
Transport
We are unable to provide transport but if this is preventing you from using the hospice. please let us know.
