How it works
The race takes place over one day and each team will take part in a minimum of three races before the fastest team goes through to the semi-final. The boat and life jackets are provided — all you need to do is recruit a team! Each boat needs between 8 to 10 paddlers and a drummer to keep the rhythm. However, you can also bring up to four reserves if you wish.
Who can enter
Anyone. Whether you are a group of friends, a sports club or entering through a company, this is guaranteed to be a great day out. All we ask is that you are over 16 (anyone under the age of 18 will need written permission from a parent/guardian) and that you are able to swim 50 metres.
Entertainment
As well as the main action taking place on the lake there will be refreshments and a range of activities available throughout the day for the whole family.

In addition to the entry fee which secures your boat, we ask that each team collectively raises a minimum of £1,000 sponsorship — that’s just £100 per person. Your £1,000 could pay for seven days of counselling and emotional support given by a qualified counsellor for families at a time of heightened anxiety and worry.

- Gold: team entry, tug of war and gazebo, £480 per team

There will be food available from a catering van on site or feel free to bring your own!
We also have a fun fair for young children so bring your families for support.
