Wondering what to do with your real tree after Christmas?

On January 6th 2024, our team of elves will take away the hassle of a trip to the tip and having to clear a car full of needles, by collecting and recycling your Christmas tree. Please do book by 3rd Jan to ensure your tree gets collected.

We would be incredibly grateful for a minimum donation of £15 per collected tree – it would make a huge difference to the lives of local children and families. You can choose your donation amount when you book.

Did you know?

  • £15 helps us provide a home-cooked meal, giving a family time to relax together while their child is cared for at the hospice.
  • £25 could buy materials to create hand and footprint keepsakes after a child has died, creating a precious memento for a grieving family.
  • £50 can help to provide an online bereavement group session with parents, giving families the opportunity to navigate through their grief while feeling part of a community.

We will be collecting trees from any address with an LS23 postcode only. Unfortunately we are unable to collect from any other postcodes, due to resource limitations – we are sorry if your area is not covered by our service this year.

Our collection is being supported by Bartletts Tree Experts, who will be kindly joining us at our Furniture Warehouse & Showroom on the day, to chip all our collected trees and take away the chippings for re-purposing where possible. If you prefer to bring your tree along to our Warehouse on 6th January, we will be happy to receive these in return for your donation.

Booking your tree collection couldn’t be easier!  Simply book online using the booking link below and make a donation.

Then sit back and enjoy Christmas, safe in the knowledge that you’ve sorted out your tree collection AND helped local children & families.
