Volunteering

Martin House couldn't run without over 400 fantastic volunteers donating their time to support us across a range of areas. As well as the wonderful people in our shops we have volunteer gardeners, drivers, trustees, eBay listers, receptionists and more. By donating even just a couple of hours a week, you allow Martin House to be able to provide the care and support children and young people with life-limiting conditions need.

Join our warm community of volunteers and our staff. While giving your support to Martin House’s work, you can also gain new skills and share your own experience. We know that our volunteers can make friends for life by becoming an invaluable part of our teams.

  • If you would like to volunteer in our shops or furniture warehouse, we would also love to hear from you. Find out more here.
  • If you can't commit on a regular basis, you may like to help out at events that we run, or get in touch with our regional fundraisers about our Friends Groups, and raising funds for us in the community.

We'd love to hear from you and your time would make a huge difference to the children, young people and families that we care for. Register your interest here, email volunteering@martinhouse.org.uk or call 01937 845045.

If you are interested in applying to be a volunteer, please complete the online form below and a member of our team will contact you.

Please note that due to the nature of our work we are not able to take volunteers under the age of 18 at the hospice, however we can accept volunteers aged 16 and over in our shops. We are also thrilled to be able to support Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteers at our shops. Email volunteering@martinhouse.org.uk for more information.

Thank you for looking into giving your time to Martin House, we look forward to working with you!
