Senior Events Fundraiser (Maternity Cover)

£24,075 per annum (Fixed Term up to 1 year)
35 hours a week

Due to impending maternity leave we are seeking an experienced (preferably in the charity sector) Events Fundraiser to take a lead in managing our comprehensive calendar of fundraising events for 2017/2018.

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, passionate, energetic and hardworking with excellent organisations skills.  The ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels will be key to success within the role, as well as being able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Shop Manager – Ilkley Shop

Hours: 35 hours a week, working a pattern in agreement with the Assistant Shop Manager
Salary:  £16,740 with opportunities for progression
Martin House is looking for a dynamic and motivated Shop Manager to run our Ilkley shop.   This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop our retail offer in the area, bringing your creative flair, business acumen and people skills together to make our shop really stand out from the crowd.
You will be required to manage an Assistant Manager and team of volunteers in order to maximise the income raised through sales of donated goods. The ideal candidate will be required to form good relationships within the local community in order to acquire good quality stock, demonstrate fantastic customer service skills and be an ambassador for Martin House Children’s Hospice.

Assistant Shop Manager – Skipton Shop

Closing Date: 31/03/2017

Hours: 17.5 hours a week, working a pattern in agreement with the Shop Manager and including regular weekends
 Salary: Starting at £14,831 pro rata with opportunities for progression

Our busy and fun shop in Skipton needs an energetic, flexible and motivated Assistant Manager to work alongside our happy team of staff and volunteers. You will be required to support the Shop Manager in raising income through the sale of donated goods, managing volunteers and providing a first rate service to our customers and donors.
