We’ve built more than a hospice, we’ve built a legacy of care
Thanks to supporters like you, Martin House is now bigger, better, and ready to support more children and families across Yorkshire for years to come.
Children and young people with increasingly complex conditions are now living longer, and the demand for our care is growing.
We had a vision: a new and improved hospice to meet the growing demand for our services, providing more specialist care and greater support for families. Now, after two years of transformation, The BUILD is complete.

Today, providing specialist care for children and young people costs £13 million a year. We need you with us more than ever to safeguard the legacy you’ve helped build, ensuring we can be here for another 40 years for children and young people across Yorkshire.

Helps a child with a life-shortening condition experience a swimming session with their family for the first time in Martin House’s new hydrotherapy pool.
Helps pay for piped oxygen in one of the new Martin House bedrooms, enabling a child or young person to receive ventilation without the need for bulky oxygen canisters.
Helps a child or young person enjoy the new immersive cinema and sensory room, giving them experiences they struggle to get in everyday life.
