We did it - we have officially reached our £2m target!
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, we have reached our £2 million public appeal target for THE BUILD - our largest and most ambitious transformation project in nearly 40 years.
Since launching in April 2024, thousands of people came together taking on challenge events including our BIG Zip Wire, joining the Raise the Roof campaign which raised over £400,000 in just 36 hours, and making donations, sharing our message and spreading the word.
We have also been supported by major contributions from individuals, trusts and foundations, and our headline sponsor of THE BUILD, Haribo UK, who have played a vital role in helping us reach this incredible milestone.

If Thomas is unwell, you go to Martin House, and it's a much more comforting environment - warm, and friendly, and loving. Even when he's poorly, he's going to get better quicker or going to be feeling happier in that environment. And we're less stressed at Martin House because we've got that extra support.

We've got big plans to transform Martin House into a hospice fit for the future. THE BUILD has been made possible thanks to the generosity of The Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation, who donated a £3 million lead gift, allowing us to kick-start the project.
