This is a key position supporting the work of our retail outlets across the region. Alongside our retail staff and our other retail volunteers you’ll become part of a busy team which generates as much income as possible to support our children, young people and families.
The role includes the following areas of responsibility:
- dealing with queries from our shop managers and from members of the public
- organising and packing shop supplies
- meeting and greeting members of the public in our Income Generation office
- pulling reports from our tilling system and entering figures into the retail income spreadsheet
- preparing reports for shops, and writing content for weekly retail newsletter
Commitment
We hope you would be able to provide a minimum of a half day per week. We can be flexible with timing.

- we ask all our volunteers to follow our policies and procedures
- we will need you to complete documentation relating to the role
Due to the nature/location of this role, applicants will require a DBS check.
Volunteers supporting on site must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless medically exempt) by Friday 1 April 2022 to be able to fulfil this role. We will require evidence of your vaccination status prior to commencement.
