Care Team member

Hours of Work:   37.5 or 25 hours a week (2/3 12.5 hour shifts per week) with a requirement to work weekends and nights on a rota basis.

Martin House provides unique family-led care for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses from across West, North and East Yorkshire.

We now have an amazing opportunity for enthusiastic and caring care team members to join our multi-disciplinary team, to look after children with a range of complex medical needs and provide support to the whole family both at the hospice and at their home.

This is an exciting time of growth for the Hospice and we are looking for candidates who are passionate about holistic, family centred care, who have a genuine interest in making a real difference to the lives of those that need us most.

Our ideal candidate

  • Experience in working in a Health or Education Setting
  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable but education and development is available for the right candidate
  • A passion for providing high quality holistic care
  • Enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekend and night shifts.
