Martin House Makers is a brand new initiative, set up to celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2017.

Many items donated to Martin House shops cannot be sold because they are damaged, incomplete or out of fashion. Martin House Makers takes goods otherwise destined for landfill and transforms them into unique, new-look items including jewellery, clothing and furniture.

The project is supported by our team of eager volunteers. Some take high quality - but imperfect - goods and give them a new lease of life. Others give their time and effort free of charge to create unique crafted goods for us to sell.  The profits from the project go directly towards providing Martin House’s vital services for families across the region.

Over the coming months, our mobile pop-up shop will take Martin House Makers to craft stalls, markets and events, as well as Martin House charity shops on the high street.
