IT Business Analyst

Salary: £30,479 dependant on experience
Hours of work: 35 Hours per week, with some flexibility to cover occasional events and sessions at weekends and in the evening
Place of work/Base: Martin House and in the Community. Hybrid working arrangements will be considered, where possible.
Type of contract: Full Time

Martin House has been caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions from West, North and East Yorkshire for more than 30 years. Every year we care for more than 420 families at our hospice in Boston Spa, in hospitals and in their own homes. We also support more than 150 bereaved families each year.

You will be working within the IT team, the primary role is to facilitate business investigation to support business change initiatives and act as a conduit between the business and IT delivery partners.

The role will work closely with stakeholders to facilitate the development of business change objectives, including process mapping, business requirements capture, to identify business change and digital transformation. This role will be pivotal in transforming the current analogue systems into a digital one. It is an exciting opportunity to change and shape the business systems for the future.

You will have experience and management of digital change function. You will have a thorough understanding of business processes, such as CRM, HR, Finance and an understanding of retail and fundraising processes, both traditional and e-commerce. You will have solid experience of Microsoft 365, including the use of SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI and the many collaboration tools that accompanies 365.

  • experience of ICT project support and rollout
  • experience of training staff in ICT skills
  • able to explain technical solutions clearly to staff and other IT users
  • knowledge of IT architecture, cloud based systems and SaaS solutions
  • knowledge of line of business applications, such as finance, HR and CRM systems
  • general awareness of recent ICT developments, including legislation
  • negotiation skills
