Digital Innovation Officer

Salary: £30,479 dependant on experience
Hours of work: 35 Hours per week, with some flexibility to cover occasional events and sessions at weekends and in the evening
Place of work/Base: Martin House and in the Community. Hybrid working arrangements will be considered, where possible.

Martin House has been caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions from West, North and East Yorkshire for more than 30 years. Every year we care for more than 420 families at our hospice in Boston Spa, in hospitals and in their own homes. We also support more than 150 bereaved families each year.

We are seeking a Digital Innovation Officer to support Martin House through its digital transformation. This sole will be pivotal in transforming the current analogue systems into a digital one. It is an exciting opportunity to change and shape the business systems for the future.

You will have experience of management of a digital change function. You will have experience of digital change, a thorough understanding of business processes, such as CRM, HR, Finance and an understanding of retail and fundraising processes, both traditional and e-commerce. You will have solid experience of Microsoft 365, including the use of SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI and the many collaboration tools that accompanies 365.

  • Substantial experience of Digital Innovation
  • Good Experience of effective change management
  • Good Experience of 365 implementation
  • Experience of ICT project support and rollout
  • Experience of training staff in ICT skills
  • Able to explain technical solutions clearly to staff and other IT users
  • Knowledge of IT architecture, cloud based systems and SaaS solutions
  • Knowledge of line of business applications, such as finance, HR and CRM systems
  • General awareness of recent ICT developments, including legislation
  • Negotiation skills
