Assistant Shop Manager - Ripon

Salary:  £9.00 per hour, equivalent to £16,423.00 pa, pro rata (actual £9,854.00)
Hours of work: Part-time: 21 hours a week

Martin House provides care and support to children and young people with life limiting illnesses, and to their families. The hospice is in Boston Spa, Wetherby and we care for children and young people from across West,
North and East Yorkshire.

Are you keen to develop your retail skills? We have the perfect opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our busy shop in Ripon. Our retail team carry out vital work to raise funds for the hospice and raise the profile of Martin House.

Working with volunteers, you will be required to form good relationships within the local community in order to acquire good quality stock, demonstrate fantastic customer service skills and provide a first rate service to our customers and donors. You will have the chance to develop Martin House’s retail social media profile and brand. Your goal will be to maximise income raised through sales of donated goods, and work hard as an ambassador for Martin House Children’s Hospice, in the community.
