Mike Heaton

Mike’s involvement with Martin House began in 2009 when he was approached by the charity to endorse their new Centre Stage music fundraiser. He then visited the hospice and was blown away by Martin House and instantly felt he wanted to help in any way possible. Having young children himself and recognising the importance of music therapy within the hospice, he felt a strong affinity, both as a parent and as a musician.

Since then, Mike has volunteered tirelessly and has been pivitol in the development and success of Centre Stage. Whether it’s dressing up as Santa, recording and mentoring young bands, cheering on marathon runners from a farmer’s field, talking about Martin House to the music industry or securing the guest list donations from his sell out tour, he is always mindful of the charity and how he can help.
