Martin House is a well-established, leading regional charity providing care and support to children and young people with life-limiting illnesses and to their families. We care for children and young people across West, North and East Yorkshire at our hospice, based in Boston Spa, and also through our work in the community.

We are entering an exciting period of growth which has seen recent investment in the fundraising team. Many of the children and families that we care for live in West Yorkshire and we are expanding our existing fundraising activity in this region.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who will be able to connect with these communities, assisting them to develop fundraising activities to support the hospice and raise our profile in the area. You will be responsible for developing, delivering and sustaining a network of individual supporters and supporter groups across West Yorkshire, in addition to securing and stewarding low level corporate partners.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of delivering against set targets, experience of recruiting and motivating volunteers, and someone who is a confident speaker who can present to a diverse range of audiences.  Working as part of a successful fundraising team, this role is key in the development of our fundraising activities across our region.

Benefits include 40 days annual leave including statutory holidays, and recognition of NHS pension scheme for candidates who are currently in the scheme (alternative stakeholder pension also offered).
