Reporting to the Director of Income Generation, you will have a dynamic and proactive approach to lead the Marketing & Communications team in delivering the strategy and take responsibility for ensuring the Martin House Brand is well recognised across our region.

You will be passionate about Marketing and Communications and have a proven track record in delivering successful Marketing & Communications strategies both internal and external.  You will be part of our vision to be able to provide palliative care to every child and young person that needs it.

What does the role involve? 
  • Lead on the development of the strategic direction for the Martin House brand, integrate the brand across the entire hospice and act as brand guardian
  • Effectively lead, inspire, develop and manage the Marketing & Communications team to enable them to achieve key objectives
  • To bring new ideas and creative for raising the profile of Martin House across key audiences across North, West and East Yorkshire
  • To work across all departments to manage internal communications and lead on the development of all publications
Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you should have a strong track record in working at a senior level leading a successful, high-performing Marketing & Communications team.

You must have proven experience of delivering compelling Marketing campaigns and excellent communications pieces. You must have worked across both digital platforms and more traditional press and print.

An inspirational leader and communicator, you must have experience of dealing with senior level contacts both internally and externally, and possess the ability to contribute to the charity at a strategic level.

The role requires excellent knowledge of contemporary Marketing techniques and will need someone with the confidence to be innovative and entrepreneurial. Of paramount importance is a proven record of managerial success, and a wealth of ambition and determination.
