| Shop volunteers have a variety of tasks which include:- Greeting customers, serving customers, operating the till, sorting out donated goods, washing and pressing donated clothing, stocking shelves, window dressing and general shop tasks as required. |
| The shop can be a very busy environment at times so it is important to be flexible and have a good sense of humour and be sensitive to the constantly changing situations which occur during any given day. This may include talking to families or friends of people who have used the hospice. Volunteers help out on a flexible basis to suit their needs. The shops are open Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, with Skipton also being open on a Sunday.. We are very grateful to them for their time and could not exist without their dedication. |
