Why we need you
Martin House Children’s Hospice are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help us with our busy events calendar. This can be as little as a couple of hours, helping to promote our events in your area or place of work, or as much as a full day actively helping us on the day. Without the help of volunteers Martin House wouldn’t be able to offer the range of events that we currently do.
What will you be doing?
You may be asked to:
Pre Event Promotion
Encourage the participants during the events
Act as a route marshall
Sell raffle tickets
Help at a water station
Sell programmes
Assisting with registration (Martin House events only)
Car parking
Pre events set up
Post event clearance
Collect money
What Skills do you need?
Great interpersonal skills
Practical skills and initiative
A willingness to work as part of a team
Enthusiasm and a pro-active attitude
A flexible approach
How much time do you need to commit?
Any amount of time you can provide would be valuable to us.

Centre Stage 2012 Final, 17th July, The O2 Academy Leeds
