| Courtyard Garden
| Martin House is set in six acres of landscaped gardens which have been designed for the enjoyment of the children and families | Sensory Garden
|
| There is also a range of play equipment, including wheelchair swings, a wheelchair accessible adventure play fort and outdoor musical instruments. |
 | The children's bedrooms all have doors leading onto an individual patio area which overlooks the gardens. | |
There are fifteen bedrooms, nine in Martin House itself, where younger children and families stay, and six (with ensuite bathrooms) in Whitby Lodge, an adjacent building for teenagers and young people. Parents and siblings sometimes want to stay in the same bedroom, and there is an extra bed in each room. However it is also good to be close by, but in a separate room, and there are family rooms upstairs for parents and siblings.

Tucked away in the garden is a chapel, which provides a quiet space for everyone, overlooking a wildlife garden.

| We have always sought to be inclusive of all faiths and outlooks on life. The chapel is used by families from many faiths as well as by families who would not profess any particular beliefs. We endeavour to recognise the diversity of the families who use Martin House and acknowledge their individual culture and beliefs in the experience they bring and the care they choose. |
| Training Room | Training and development, both internally and externally, are important to the philosophy and growth of Martin House. We have a separate, large seminar room, a meeting room and a library. |
