A huge thank you to our 155 Great North Runners whose amazing efforts over the weekend will help us to support our families in the year ahead.

Kings Security Tough Mudder

Thanks to the 51-strong team from Kings Security in Bradford for tackling Tough Mudder and raising almost £13,000.

Proudfoots, Newby

The Scarborough Friends of Martin House Children’s Hospice would like to thank the customers of Proudfoots, Newby, Scarborough for raising £511.99. The collection was held on 3rd September.

Rob Northfield Thanks to Harrogate businessman, Rob Northfield, for taking on 18,000 steps as part of his "Staircase Challenge" and raising over £7,000 for our families.
Malcolm Appleby The Scarborough Friends of Martin House would like to thank the concertgoers in Peasholm  Park who attended the performance given by Malcolm Appleby’s Scarborough Concert Band on Sunday 7th August where £290.83 was raised for the hospice. 
Sainsbury Denise Ward and the Scarborough Friends of Martin House  would like to thank the customers of the Scarborough branch of Sainsbury’s who donated £277.84 during a charity collection held on Sunday 3rd July.
Imran Ali and friends

Thank you to Imran Ali and friends who raised £2143.45 for our families.

Pat Normington Open Gardens event raised a blooming £253.43 for Martin House . The beautifully planted gardens boasted themed areas and some ornamentation, and money was raised through a raffle, bran tub and the sale of homemade cakes and refreshments. Congratulations and thank you to Pat and her green-fingered helpers!


Wetherby Tigers Many Congratulations to The Wetherby Tigers who won the Martin House Football League's trophy on Saturday 11th June and raised another £1300 to boot! This now brings the total they have raised for Martin House to a fantastic £6,288.
The Downs Family Thank you to the family of Matthew Downs who came into Martin House to donate a brand new 32" HD Ready DVD TV to our children. Pictured with Patch the Teddy, (L-R) are Jean, Malcolm, Charlotte and Karen Osborne.
