Gift in your will

After you have provided for family and loved ones, leaving a gift to us is a meaningful way to continue your support after you have gone.

How you can help

We make a commitment to our families to help them live well and fully, offering the very best care and support throughout their journey and in bereavement.

One way you can help us to do this is to remember us in your will. One in four of our children and young people are cared for thanks to a gift left in a will.

How your gift can help

Leaving a gift will cost you nothing now, but could ensure we are able to care for future generations of children and young people who need us. Such gifts have been a lifeline over the past 30 years and we are always grateful that people remember us in this special way.

In 2020/2021, £1.3 million was raised through people leaving a gift in their will to us.

‘This gift was bequeathed by our Mum, Alison Parkes. Martin House is a charity she cared deeply about and to which she devoted much of her time. She had a lot of fun and some amazing experiences fundraising with you, making many new and dear friends along the way.

However, most of all she wanted to help make a difference to the lives of the terminally ill children and their families you care for. Hopefully her legacy will mean that poorly children will be able to benefit from your expert care and facilities in the future.’ — Mrs Parkes’ sons, Timothy and Andrew.
